Corplex UK launched its own “Great Correx Bake off” to help Charlies Cancer Care in Gloucester

Charlie’s is a local charity to Corplex Gloucester plant in UK, that offers friendship, support, holistic therapies, activities and events to help people live well with Cancer.

In line with the current TV series, on Wednesday 6th April 2022 Corplex has hosted the great Correx® Bake off for Stand Up to Cancer.
For all baking enthusiasts, Correx UK has hosted a competition for people to bring in their “Best Purple Bake”. Three “expert” judges have been designated for that purpose to elect the award-winning cake at the end of the day.

The cakes were to be home made, with purple or Corplex theme.

During the day, not less than 15 cakes in total have been brought to the judges’ table. All very creative and as tasty as each other. But not only! it is also an outpouring of generosity that fueled this challenge during this day of tasting, thus making it possible to raise a total of £1,000 for Charlie’s Community Cancer Support and Therapy Centre.

This donation will go towards Charlie Cancer Care in the local rural communities of Gloucester area and will enable them to reach more people affected by cancer.

This initiative demonstrated how brilliant the efforts of the team have been in contributing actively with great cakes for a wonderful charity. Not only has the whole team at Gloucester demonstrated enjoyment in taking part in this charity project, but also, they are proven a good amount of integrity and entrepreneurial sense to make this day a great ‘team spirit’ day for a charitable and selfless project, all three being part of our core values at Corplex.
